Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC):

            In pursuance of the major action plan laid down by NAAC, Bangalore, for perform

ance of the Institutions evaluation, assessment and accreditation and quality up-gradation

 of higher education, the National Assessment and Accreditation Council proposes that ever

y accredited institution have an Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) as a post-accreditation 

quality sustenance measure.            

          The IQAC therefore will become an integral part of an institution's system and work 

towards realizing the goals of quality enhancement and sustenance as quality enhancement 

is a continuous process. The major task set before the IQAC is to develop a system for 

conscious, consistent and catalytic improvement in the performance of institution. The IQAC 

will therefore make a significant and meaningful contribution in the post-accreditation phase

 of institution. During the post-accreditation period, the IQAC will channelize all efforts and 

measures towards academic excellence.

Goal: To enhance a quality system for conscious, consistent and catalytic programmed action 

to improve the academic and overall performance of the Kittel Arts College

The IQAC shall have the following functions

1. Initiate Meetings with all the faculty and Departments to promote quality in the teaching-
2. learning process.
3. Constitute different Committees, Societies and Cell for promoting a healthy and conducive 
4. environment
5.  Introducing innovative practices
6. Make strategies to empower faculty through Faculty Orientation Program 
7. Initiatives towards Green Awareness
8. Promote Gender Sensitivity
9. Uphold the vision , values and mission of the College
10. Develop a Quality Improvement  action plan
11. Assess the feedback of the stakeholder for the taking corrective measures and improving the 
12. effectiveness and efficiency of the Institutional process
13. Monitor the academic leadership and faculty participation in various functional committees
14.  Assess the management of human resources
15. Monitor the effective use of financial resources and financial management
16. Value Based Education to enrich the knowledge of students
17. Outreach activities

Follow up: The AQAR shall be approved by the IQAC of the College for the follow up action for necessary quality enhancement measures.
