The college provides efficient N.C.C training for the physical development of the students. It tries to bring discipline in the students. It also shapes the behavior and character of the students.
Students who successfully complete N.C.C and pass ‘B’ and ‘C’ N.C.C certificate examinations get benefits. Students who are regular to N.C.C parades and show keen interest will be sent to advanced adventure campus or courses like Mountaineering, Trekking, and Rock climbing, Para sailing, Gliding, Regular Army Attachment Camps etc., which are held in different parts of the country.
"The students may also participate in the BLC and RD parades at Delhi."
N.C.C students get an opportunity to participate in the ceremonial Drill held on Independence Day and Republic Day at R.N.Shetty Stadium, Dharwad. They also get an opportunity to present Guard of Honor to the Governor at the University Convocation Day. Interested students are advised to enroll themselves for N.C.C and get the extra benefits.
